ARLINGTON, Texas (Associated Press) — Mike Napoli hit a tiebreaking two-run double in the eighth inning against Marc Rzepczynski, and the Texas Rangers rallied from a two-run deficit to beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-2 on Monday night and take a 3-2 World Series lead.

Solo home runs by Mitch Moreland in the third and Adrian Beltre in the sixth off Chris Carpenter sparked the Texas comeback. Michael Young doubled off loser Octavio Dotel leading off the eighth.

Darren Oliver got the win in relief of C.J. Wilson, and Neftali Feliz finished for his sixth save of the postseason, striking out Albert Pujols as part of a double play when Allen Craig was caught stealing second.

Colby Lewis starts Game 6 for the Rangers on Wednesday in St. Louis, trying to wrap up their first title. Jaime Garcia starts for the Cardinals.

After Young's double, Beltre struck out and Nelson Cruz was intentionally walked.

Dotel relieved Rzepczynski and David Murphy reached on an infield single to load the bases and Napoli doubled to deep right field, making it 4-2.

Pujols drew three intentional walks, including a pass with two outs and none on in the seventh. The St. Louis slugger then nearly used his legs to put his team ahead.

Pujols was running hard on a 3-2 pitch that Matt Holliday hit for a single to left-center. Pujols chugged around the bags and third base coach Jose Oquendo initially waved him home, only to put up a late stop sign.

Elvis Andrus' wide throw to the plate? Maybe. But it became moot when Lance Berkman was intentionally walked to load the bases and David Freese flied out against Alexi Ogando.

Beltre and Moreland hit solo home runs off Carpenter, helping Texas come back from an early 2-0 deficit.

Beltre made it 2-all with two outs in the sixth, dropping to one knee after following through on a meaty cut. He connected on a big curve from Carpenter, who had easily handled Josh Hamilton and Young to start the inning.

Beltre's other homers this October came in a bunch. He hit three in a first-round playoff game at Tampa Bay.

Napoli almost gave Texas a cushion later in the inning. With the crowd standing and chanting his name as "Nap-Oh-Lee" flashed on the scoreboard, the catcher's bid for a three-run homer was caught on the warning track in right-center field, just shy of the 407-foot mark.

The homer let Wilson avoid becoming the first pitcher to lose four times in a single postseason. The eccentric lefty who alternates red and blue gloves between starts had another uneven outing, working around five walks.

Wilson walked six while losing Game 1 to Carpenter and the Cardinals.

Moreland atoned for some glove woes with a home run in the third, hitting a drive halfway up the second deck in right field.

The Cardinals scored twice in the second, cashing in two leadoff walks sandwiched around a wild pitch.

Yadier Molina notched his fifth RBI of the Series with a single that left fielder David Murphy overran and fumbled for an error. Skip Schumaker followed with an RBI grounder to first that Moreland boxed around, preventing any chance at a double play.

Murphy made a diving catch to end the inning, denying Nick Punto a run-scoring hit. Punto carried his bat all the way to first base and tried to break the wood by bending it over his right thigh.

Already ahead 2-0, the Cards threatened in the third after Wilson slipped coming off the mound trying to field Rafael Furcal's leadoff bunt and made a poor, backhanded flip that skittered past Moreland. But with runners at the corners, Wilson got Holliday to bounce into a quick double play. Not so surprising, really – Wilson induced the most DP grounders in the majors this year while St. Louis hit into an NL-record 169 double plays.

Holliday flied out with the bases loaded, after an intentional walk to Pujols, to finish the fifth.

NOTES: Playing on his 34th birthday, Furcal led off the game with a liner that 3B Beltre backhanded. Furcal started Game 4 the same way. ... JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — As Maurice Jones-Drew walked off the field, his white pants had a mix of grass, dirt and blood stains. They might be worth keeping that way.

After all, few players have had that much success against that defense.

Jones-Drew ran for 105 yards, Josh Scobee kicked four field goals and the Jacksonville Jaguars snapped a five-game slide with a 12-7 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

"It finally feels good to win one after all those losses," said Jones-Drew, the first player to run for 100 yards against the Ravens since last December. "It was nice to show the world what we're about. We beat a very good team."

Stepping into the national spotlight for a few hours, the Jaguars used their best defensive effort in seven years to slow down Ray Rice, Joe Flacco and Co.

"You've got to give them credit. They played like it was their Super Bowl," Ravens receiver Anquan Boldin said.

The victory could be a turning point for a young team trying to create confidence after losing eight of its previous nine games. Instead of talk about coach Jack Del Rio's job security, the Jaguars (2-5) got back in the mix in the wide-open AFC South.

"We knew this was an opportunity to right things and gain a little respect," Del Rio said.

They relied on Jones-Drew and the defense to get it done.

Jacksonville didn't allow a first down until the 5:26 mark of the third quarter, a mix of stout defense and inept offense. Flacco finally got the Ravens (4-2) on the scoreboard with a little more than two minutes remaining. He capped a 90-yard drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Boldin.

The Ravens failed to recover an onside kick when the ball bounced inches short of going the required 10 yards. Scobee followed with his third field goal of at least 50 yards, tying an NFL record held by many.

"As long as I'm getting those opportunities, I will gladly take them," Scobee said. "Given that we haven't scored a lot of points this season, I know that every time I'm out there it's very important."

Baltimore had a final possession, but in fitting fashion, Jacksonville's defense came up big. Drew Coleman stepped in front of Ed Dickson and intercepted Flacco's final pass.

The Ravens finished with 146 total yards, the fewest yards the Jaguars have allowed since 2004.

"They basically beat us with their defense," coach John Harbaugh said. "I don't think it was any one thing. It was a lack of execution. It's almost as bad as you can play on offense."

The Jaguars set a franchise record by allowing only 16 yards in the first half, including 1 yard passing by Flacco, who was under relentless pressure for much of the night.

"We need to make sure when we're not on our 'A' game, we're not this," said Flacco, who completed 21 of 38 passes for 137 yards.

Baltimore finally got a first down on its 28th play of the game when Rice broke off a 12-yard run. That was only the second play longer than 10 yards for the Ravens.

"We were confident about this game," Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton said. "We knew we had to outplay them. The difference between this and the other weeks is that we started fast. Our defense is capable of that. That's why we hold ourselves to a high standard. We just needed to taste victory. Now that we have, we're going to keep it rolling."

The teams combined to go 0 of 16 on third-down conversions in the opening half. The Jaguars began the third quarter with six first downs, only for the Ravens defense to stiffen after yet another mistake.

The Ravens stopped Jacksonville, but Brendon Ayanbadejo was called for a personal foul and ejected from the game when he punched Guy Whimper in the facemask after the play. That gave the Jaguars first-and-goal from the 3, but Blaine Gabbert failed to complete two passes in the end zone and Scobee kicked a 22-yard field goal.

An earlier field goal was set up by another Baltimore blunder.

After Gabbert completed passes of 24 and 11 yards to the Ravens 38, Gabbert was sacked on third-and-8 at the 40. The Jaguars chose to punt, but Paul Kruger was penalized for running into the kicker. The 5-yard penalty put Scobee in field goal range, putting the Jaguars up 6-0 with a 54-yard kick.

Scobee, who extended his franchise record with a field goal for the 15th straight game, kicked two 54-yarders.

Jacksonville needed every yard and point it could muster. The NFL's worst offense put the game on Jones-Drew's shoulders. He carried 30 times, most of them right into the middle of Baltimore's revered defense.

"We just grinded them," Gabbert said. "Mojo's a beast back there."

BOSTON — Is something fundamentally wrong with America?

As the clock counts down to Aug. 2, the day we are told this country will begin defaulting on its enormous public debt obligations unless the current ceiling is raised, this question is being asked with increasing urgency by people in nations around the globe.

Why, they ask, is America’s political leadership unable to resolve something that previously had been nothing more than a routine procedure, carried out innumerable times under both Republican and Democratic presidents?

First, America’s economy is at near-recession levels, with slow growth prospects and enormous unemployment.

With 9.2 percent of its workforce unemployed, the United States may not be as badly off as Spain where joblessness is above 20 percent, or Greece where it is 15 percent. But a comparison to most of the other major global economic powers is decidedly unfavorable to America.

China has official unemployment of only 4.1 percent, Germany 6 percent, Brazil 6.5 percent, Russia 7.6 percent.

Even Japan, with all of its recent struggles, has official unemployment of only 4.5 percent. In fact, joblessness in the United States has been very close to or above 9 percent since April 2009, more than two years and counting. This is the longest period of high unemployment since the winter of 1982.

With more than 14 million Americans without jobs, and many with little prospect of work in the months to come, it is not surprising that the U.S. economy is hardly growing. The fastest and best cure to America’s debt and deficit problems is a strengthening economy with more jobs, more consumption of goods and services, and more tax revenue for the U.S. Treasury.

Second, America has been fighting two wars in distant places for an incredibly long time — Afghanistan since October 2001 and Iraq since March 2003. This has never happened before in U.S. history. The cost of these wars has many estimates, but all begin well above 13 digits — that’s more than a trillion dollars. It’s a burden the country can no longer afford. A decade of enormous spending by the Defense Department has added significantly to the national debt.

Third, on the domestic side, spending for entitlements, especially for the giant health insurance programs Medicare and Medicaid, has continued to grow at percentage rates that are far above inflation and far above what is sustainable. An aging population and the first waves of retirement by the Baby Boom generation are compounding the rate of growth. The inability of either government or private industry to gain control of health care costs may well be the single most critical factor in the burgeoning national debt.

Fourth, the United States is mired in a revenue drought brought on by President George W. Bush and the Republican Congress who engineered two massive income tax cuts, the first in 2001 and the second in 2003. Whatever one’s point of view may be about the justification for these tax cuts, it is indisputable that they have added huge new sums to the nation’s debt and deficit problem.

The Bush tax cuts were extended for two years in December 2010, after considerable debate between the parties, and will expire again in 2013. According to the Congressional Budget Office, this extension alone will add $3.3 trillion to the national debt. That’s as much as all of the spending cuts being discussed this week in Washington as the price of raising the debt ceiling.

Finally, and perhaps most important of all, there is a growing realization here in the United States that as a result of all of the above factors the United States has failed for too long to invest in the country’s infrastructure — both physical and intellectual. As a result, America is losing much of its future competitiveness in the global economy.

Is something fundamentally wrong with America? Yes.

Will a resolution of the current debt ceiling crisis resolve the real problems facing the country? No, it will not.

America has a deep political malaise. Seldom before in the nation’s history have the two main parties been so bitterly divided and so unable to find common ground in the national interest. Average Americans are worried and deeply frustrated. Many are angry.

No matter how the debt ceiling crisis is resolved, it appears the United States is headed toward a titanic and historic battle in the 2012 presidential elections.

Americans have a great fighting spirit and a better future is still theirs to create. Aug. 2 will come and go, but these challenges will remain.

Her idea of “interesting” (or the producer’s) comprises of shopping — fully clothed at first — in a market, before stripping down to a transparent apron to teach the nuances of cooking, thirty minutes per episode. Is it that outrageous to have a naked cooking show when there are already naked news reports, naked weather reports, and other naked shows that seem to cover every otherwise mundane aspect of modern society? We all know that sex sells, but how far do we go before we say enough is enough?

Sure, a naked cooking show is interesting, but what’s being sold here? Turns out Cheung has no previous professional cooking experience. One would think that the audience will still be more than captivated by her cooking. Then again, you never know with men. I just might be motivated enough to start cooking for myself.

早起呕吐并非“有喜”

早在之前就传说香港寰亚总裁林建岳想以同样的价格与张柏芝签约，但后来林老板在各大场合均表示自己没有说过这样的话。在这样的情况下，传言AEG目前正在和张柏芝积极接触，希望以同样的签约费签下张柏芝，更将预付签约费全力帮助张柏芝争子。对此，余先生进行了回应，“我和她确实有谈过，也谈得非常顺利。因为我和柏芝从小就认识，是很好的朋友，而且现在我们也是合作的关系，而且合作得很愉快，所以在公在私我都想把她签下来。未来我们可能还不仅只是经纪方面的合作，还会有更多方面的合作。至于签约费是多少，会预付多少签约费帮助张柏芝，暂时还不方便透露。”不过余先生坦言，张柏芝的价值远不止3年1个亿，“所以，对于我来说，如果真的能签下张柏芝，那是一个很值得和划算的投资，因为我相信未来她能给我带来10倍的回报。”

霆锋淡定

ソロス氏、外部投資家の資金運用停止へ

米著名投資家ジョージ・ソロス氏率いるヘッジファンド、ソロス・ファンド・マネジメントは、外部投資家の資産運用をやめる計画で、10億ドル（約780億円）弱の資金をこれら顧客に返却する方針だ。同社が出資者に送付した書簡や関係者の話で明らかになった。関係者によると、同社の運用資産は現在250億ドル以上に達している。

また外部投資家の資金運用停止に伴い、2008年以降、同社の最高投資責任者（ＣＩＯ）を務めていたキース・アンダーソン氏が退職するという。同氏は他の機会を求めていく方針。

この動きはブルームバーグ通信が最初に報じた。

同社は書簡で、変更の理由として当局の規制が差し迫っていることを挙げ、とりわけ米証券取引委員会（ＳＥＣ）が投資顧問会社に対し、2012年3月まで にＳＥＣに登録するよう義務付けることを挙げた。このＳＥＣルールの例外として登録を義務付けられないのはファミリーオフィス（家族のための資産運用会 社）で、同社はこれを目指すことになった。

来月81歳になるソロス氏は会長職を継続するが、日々の運用はしないという。

書簡は息子のジョナサン・ソロス、ロバート・ソロス両副会長が署名したもので、「残念ながら、規則により、われわれはもはや家族以外の顧客の資産を運用 できなくなった」としている。ただ書簡は同時に、ソロス・ファンドはジョージ・ソロス氏が投資目標変更を発表した2000年以降、実質的に「ファミリーオ フィス」として運営されてきたとも指摘した。

ソロス氏は1992年、「クォンタム・ヘッジ・ファンド」を率いて大量のポンド売りを仕掛け、10億ドル程度稼いで一躍世界的に有名になった。

アンダーソン氏はマサチューセッツ州ノースアトルボロ－で育ち、ライス大学で経営学の修士号を取得した後、ヒューストンのクライテリオン・アセット・マ ネジメント社に入社。不動産担保証券（ＭＢＳ）やモーゲージ担保証券（ＣＭＯ）など新しい金融派生商品を手掛けた。こうした商品が重要になるにつれ、アン ダーソン氏の地位も上がっていった。

アンダーソン氏はその後、投資銀行ファースト・ボストン（現在はクレディ・スイス・グループ傘下）で1年間務めた後、ブラックロックに入社し、約20年 間在籍した。ソロス氏と会ったのは2007年秋で、2人は金融システムに対する悲観的な見通しで一致して意気投合。08年2月にソロス氏のファンドに入社 した。

Tonight at Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas, NV, WBA Super champion Amir Khan and IBF champion Zab Judah tangle in a hotly anticipated light welterweight unification clash.

Judah is currently on a five-fight win streak with recent victories over Ernest Johnson, Ubaldo Hernandez, Jose Armando Santa Cruz, Lucas Matthysse and Kaizer Mabuza.

Khan’s last five wins have been against opponents Paul McCloskey, Marcos Maidana, Paul Malignaggi, Dimitry Salita and Andrey Kotelnik.

If you were to switch the opponents around, the results would be the same except, I could see Judah struggling with Maidana. Then I thought, Khan would probably have his work cut out for him with Matthysse.

The problem here is that Judah, 41-6-0 with 28 KO’s, has always been frustrating to watch. In the respect that sometimes when you saw him, he could be masterfully good, with a skill set beyond belief, implemented by near light speed counters and footwork, with a good punch and a decent enough chin to boot.

The other times you saw him, he would lose interest in his opponent (Carlos Baldomir) or become annoyed in his own inability to act upon a gameplan and resort to fighting dirty (Floyd Mayweather), or become cocky and get caught (Kostya Tszyu).

Generally, he has been an exciting fighter to watch, a fighter who could turn a contest his way with one counter punch and follow it up with blistering speed and ferocity.

When you get stars from two of the biggest football clubs in the English Premier League in one room, attention usually gravitates towards them. But in Hollywoods' historic Wild Card Boxing Club, Chelsea's Ashley Cole and Manchester City's Shaun Wright-Phillips played the googly eyed spectators in front of fellow Englishman, Amir Khan.

Cole and Phillips, who stand up to the best footballers in the world on a weekly basis, stared in awe as Khan berated a speed bag with such power, control and precision that only the boom of the bag hitting the wood base proved that the bag was even moving. Once Khan finished the five minute drill, Cole, Phillips and an entourage of five Pakistani-American men snapped out of their hypnosis, looked at each other and exchanged amazed smiles like moviegoers in moment of theatrical genius.

They were witnessing firsthand the speed and skill that have drawn comparison to the talents of Manny Pacquiao. In fact, the legendary Freddie Roach, who coincidentally trains both fighters, has said that Khan is the only fighter he has seen who can keep up with the Philippine sensation.

Khan (25-1, 17 KO), who next takes on Zab Judah in a unification title fight at the super lightweight level at Mandalay Bay on Saturday night, is the sports next superstar.

Many talented and successful boxers come and go, but only a few carry the masses with them. Boxers are notorious for being outspoken and proud of their roots. However, no one since Muhammad Ali has made a global, political, and cultural impact that challenges and shakes us to our senses. "King" Khan, a self-identified British-Pakistani Muslim boxer, already has one Western nation in love with him, and he's now flirting with the rest.

Britain fell in love with Khan in Athens, Greece, in 2004. At the age of 17, he won the silver Olympic medal as the country's sole boxing representative. The whole nation watched, as he became the youngest British boxing medalist in history. At a time when Muslims only made the news when explosions and radicalisation were involved, England got a new perspective when it saw one of "them" winning for "us".

Recognising the divide and misunderstandings floating around in societal politics, Khan took it upon himself to become a figure of unity.

The Muslim community got a prominent positive voice, a sports hero, and someone who could show that being Muslim and being British were compatible.

"Anytime you have vocal Muslim athletes it raises the issue of fighting Islamophobia in the best possible way because all these "isms" - sexism, racism, et cetera - are rooted in ignorance. Anytime you have someone who is public with whatever is stigmatised, it forces people to confront their bigotry," said Dave Zirin, a heralded political sports writer for The Nation Magazine and author of several books including "Welcome to the Terrordome: The Pain, Politics, and Promise of Sport."

"What's unique about [Khan] is the angle at which he is coming from. Muslims athletes such as Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Mahmoud Abdur Rauf had to confront certain realities that forced them to speak. Amir is somebody who has decided early on that he doesn't want to wait for the weight to fall on him. He is ready to say something now and start to define his faith before somebody does it for him. That's what the great political athletes have in common; they are not reactive. They are active."

He doesn't consider himself a perfect Muslim or some authority on Islam. But he is passionate about the fact that Muslims have been misunderstood, and he is going to use his fame as an opportunity to dispel those falsities.

"I want to point my finger straight at people and tell them that there are only very few Muslims who are bad; the rest are very, very good. I want to send that message across the world. I want young Muslims to follow in my footsteps," said Khan.

It is ironic that a man who is so talented at such a violent sport is so adamant about stressing the importance of peace in his religion. However, it is his charisma and charm that has made him the perfect messenger. His appeal spans all ages, backgrounds and socioeconomic groups. He mingles with celebrities as well as he does with the children for whom he built a boxing gym in his hometown of Bolton - where he charges a meagre fee of one pound for annual membership. Better yet, he trains there himself.

He is an avid tweeter, with more than 200,000 followers, and has a multi-million dollar endorsement deal from Reebok. He is an avid Bolton Wanderers fan and is the youngest ambassador for the NSPCC, an anti-child cruelty charity. He is the British-Pakistani Oscar De La Hoya, which is most likely the reason why Golden Boy Promotions signed him and brought him to the US.

"I want to be the people's champion," says Khan.

He credits his family for his success. Coming from a Pakistani culture where education is stressed and sports are an afterthought, Khan was lucky to have parents who were accepting of his dream - which is especially rare for immigrant parents who move to the West.

"It's important to get an education to make your life easier down the line. But at the same time to let the kids do what they are good at, and what they want to do,' said Shah Khan, Amir's father who worked in the motor industry. "Be there for them. I was there for Amir from a very young age. I never thought he would be where he is today at that young age, but I wanted to be there for him for what he wanted to do. He proved that because he has the family support he has everything now."

Khan has set his sights on following the boxing greats' footsteps and becoming the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. With a win against the tricky veteran Judah on Saturday night, Khan plans to move up a weight class and taking on Floyd Mayweather Jr to become the king with the ultimate crown. He recognises that boxing is what put him in the position he is in today, and that winning will only help further his causes.

"There are very few people out there who are like Muhammad Ali and I think Manny Pacquiao is like him with regards to what he has done for his people. I'd like to be on the same page with those guys at the end of the day." Khan said.

"When people talk down the road I want my name to be up there as well."

新浪娱乐讯 北京时间7月22日消息，据日本媒体报道，演员西岛秀俊7月21日出席了明年1月开播的日剧《草莓之夜》的制作发布会，主演竹内结子和男星小出惠介也出席了活动，剧中竹内结子饰演警视厅搜查1课主任警部补姫川玲子，西岛秀俊饰演她的部下菊田，他说：“角色的魅力就是对姫川尽力效忠，我的目标是成为她最理想的部下。”

《草莓之夜》根据誉田哲也销量突破140万部的畅销悬疑小说改编，讲述虽然没什么经验但却很会破解疑难案件的警视厅搜查1课主任警部补姫川玲子的断案故事。这是竹内结子第一次挑战刑警角色，去年11月推出的特别篇日剧收视率14%，连续剧版的故事基于《太过正义》、《邪恶真实》等几段故事改编。小出惠介在剧中饰演菊田的部下，首次挑战刑警角色的关8组合成员丸山隆平也出席了活动。(布布)

This worlds most expensive coffee is called Kopi Luwak and is known as Kape Alamid or Coffee Alamid in the Philippines. In most parts of the world civet coffee, it is known as Kopi Luwak. I’ve seen reports of it selling for as much as $100 a cup! The most common number I see cited for it in the USA is $30. Many call it civet coffee. Some of the more irreverent simply call it cat poo coffee.

During the peak season, Filipino earn around $100 a day harvesting these civet coffee beans.

Many expats ask me what kind of business could they get into when living in the Philippines, well, here you go. You can export Kopi Luwak.

I don’t know what kind of restrictions are placed on the Kopi Luwak. It involves wildlife and you should investigate it throughly. It isn’t easy work and you will have local competition. Competition with locals can be tricky. You certainly must have all the legalities covered. With this kind of money at stake, you could expect some resentment, whether you’re a local or a foreigner if you jump into this business.

If you had the cash and the proper visa you could enter into the Kopi Luwak export business by making contact with local business. I’m sure you could find one that would like to take on new distributors that can deliver results.

Since harvesting the beans yourself would mean tromping around jungle floors, you’ll be in remote areas of Mindanao and maybe Luzon. Remote areas of Mindanao are considered to be very risk for foreigners. However, now it seems to be in other areas? I’m not sure.

There are already some large, well established exporters of Kopi Luwak. I see some selling it for nearly $900 per kilo and that is from a Philippines based website.

Myself? I would just like to find a cup of Kopi Luwak to try, I’d pay P500 just to say I did it. Not likely I’d pay more. I consider that to be excessive!

Now, why would I want to say I did it. Let me tell you how the beans are harvested.

Harvesting Kopi Luwak Or Civet Coffee

Coffee Alamid begins its life like any other coffee, from a bean growing in a forest of field In the Philippines, they grow wild in the forest but civet coffee doesn’t come from climbing up a tree to harvest the treasured bean. Before the bean becomes civet coffee a wild animal must process it. The Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus), also called Toddy Cat is responsible for providing the Coffee Alamid.

The Civet is said only to eat the best coffee bean. Their enzymes ferment the coffee bean and most of the bean is excreted in its waste. Yes, you heard me. That’s where this civet coffee bean comes from. Until the Civet eats and excretes the bean, it is just a normal coffee bean. This is the essential step for a bean to become Coffee Alamid.

The civets digest the flesh of the coffee beans but excretes the beans inside. Before they are deposited on the forest floor, the Civet’s stomach enzymes do their magic on the beans providing the civet coffee its esteemed aroma and flavor.

People living in the Philippines, almost always Filipino then search the forest floor to find the Civet’s droppings. Filipino then collect the beans and sell them to processors. These distributors are mostly interested in exporting the bean to the West. This is where they command top dollar.

I have never seen it for sale in a shop in the Philippines, but I’ve not looked for it. I’m sure it can be had but I’m not sure at what price. Maybe it is only sold in Western style hotels? Maybe one of my readers can tell me where I can find it at less than these crazy prices Westerners are willing to pay?

I have always thought the Civet was limited to Mindanao but this report comes from Central Luzon? Perhaps the Civet still thrives Mindanao. There are civet coffee processing plants even in Cebu.

Civets living in the Philippines look somewhat like a raccoon. The Civet is its own mammal and really doesn’t fit well into our common animal categories. Many say it is a rat. It isn’t a rat. Some say it is a cat, its closer to a cat and is classified in the same suborder as cats are. In the Philippines the Civet is omnivores. Civets in other parts of the world are usually carnivorous.

What is it then? Well, it is a Civet.

In any case, it is now my mission to purchase some Kopi Luwak. I hope I can find it by the cup, if not, I’ll have to buy a coffee maker and buy a $90 can of it

日前，香港新天后谢安琪受邀“魅力校园”全国青少年综艺盛典之邀，在北京大学百年讲堂同内地著名音乐人、歌手徐子崴共同献唱了之前一直未向外界透露的神秘大作《我们的中国心》。在演出间隙，早已是铁杆朋友的徐子崴和谢安琪不时摆着各种pose用手机拍照微博，引得众多微博粉丝围观评论。

在晚会现场，身着帅气时装的徐子崴牵手谢安琪一经亮相，就受到现场观众的热情照顾。据徐子崴介绍，这是两人首次在北京舞台联袂合作献唱。而很少在央视演唱的谢安琪表示很紧张，在舞台上不时和徐子崴交头接耳、对视微笑，以此来缓解自己紧张的心情，而这些小动作都惹得现场观众和歌迷的尖叫呐喊不断。随后，谢安琪又独自献唱了由徐子崴和徐子淳兄弟帮创作的国语专辑主打歌《兰花指》。有了徐子崴护航，阿kay在独唱这首歌的时候明显放松的了很多，时而玩rap、时而翘兰花指，独特新颖的表演形式让观众爱煞阿kay。
